Compared with melamine board, fireproof board processing is more troublesome. Many decoration teams and cabinet factories do not have special machines to press boards, so they use some local methods to press boards, and the quality is difficult to guarantee. Fireproof board veneer is three-layer, while melamine board veneer is only one-layer, so the wear resistance, scratch resistance, high temperature resistance and other properties of general fireproof board are better than melamine board. Fireproof board has bright color, giving people a brand new feeling. However, fireproof board countertops are easily eroded by water and moisture. Improper use will lead to degumming, deformation, and expansion of base material.
Melamine board: Melamine board is a fire-resistant board pasted on the surface of particleboard or density board with melamine, and its extended varieties are wrapped with metal frames on the edges. Similar to fireproof board, it has the properties of friction resistance, impact resistance, high temperature resistance, heat resistance, acid, heat and alkali resistance. Fireproof board has various colors and textures imitating nature, but no three-dimensional shape. Adding metal edge banding and aluminum alloy groove handles only increases its decorativeness, and has little effect from the practical effect.
Paint board: Paint board is divided into baking varnish and polyester paint. Baking varnish is composed of resin and additives and can be polished. Polyester paint uses spray painting technology, does not need to be baked, and the surface is matte and does not need to be polished. What matters is firmness and adhesion. Good polyester paint falls off in powder form, while ordinary ones fall off in pieces.
Solid wood board: Solid wood board is divided into pure solid wood board, solid wood composite board, and solid wood veneer board. Pure solid wood boards have high requirements for the consistency of wood species, and the overall appearance is natural, luxurious and classic, with good effects; solid wood composite boards use solid wood splicing materials as the base material, and solid wood veneer is pasted on the surface to achieve the visual effect of solid wood; solid wood veneer is double-pasted on the surface of the density board. Solid wood composite boards and solid wood veneer can avoid the color difference and defects of the surface raw materials, achieve consistent texture and color effects, and are not easy to deform.
PVC board: Different manufacturers use different materials, and the quality is also uneven.
Crystal board: Crystal board is a plexiglass board pasted on the surface of the board after painting. Because its wrapping, edge sealing, trimming and other processes are completely manual, plus the characteristics of plexiglass itself, there are many shortcomings. Crystal board has poor wear resistance, scratch resistance, flame retardant performance, and no compressive performance.
Plastic frame board: Plastic frame board is a plastic decorative bread pasted on the surface of the base material. This material is mostly manual. It is very beautiful at the beginning, with rich colors and colors. After a long time, it is easy to deform, fall off, twist, fade, and there are many cleaning dead corners.
